Sunflowers and Artichokes

The Jerusalem Artichokes (Helianthus tuberosus)
in the Kitchen Garden
are towering by the jungle now and flowering.

Over on the other side of the garden
the Perennial Sunflowers (Helianthus maximilianii)
are additionally flowering…

…their flowers are nearly identical.
