Solstice Greetings

December 21, 2009 · Print This Article

It’s our Summer Solstice today.
The Southworld’s longest day of the year.
After today the sun begins it’s journey back northward.
Our days will shorten but the heat intensifies!

We’ve been busy that daylight picking the Cherries (over 5 kgs) and netting the Apricot and

Plum trees which are next to ripen!

While we were at it we covered the Apple tree next to the Plum considering the Ringneck parrots were already pecking away at the green apples!!! The apples are still months from ripening.
