Preparing Your Organic Vegetable Garden

For those in the Northern Hemisphere the growing season is coming to an end. But it’s not too early to think about your vegetable garden for next Spring. In fact, in some places, such as the southwest, you can plant undoubtful vegetables in December, January or February.

But why vegetable gardening? considering that activity is cheap, easy and fun. that will save you both duration and money from going down to the store and buying them yourself.

This past summer we had tomatoes, beans, corn, squash, cucumbers, peas, and bell peppers. The cucumbers, beans peas and

corn are finished, but we are still getting tomatoes, bell peppers and squash. Going out to the garden each day to look for ripe vegetables is a lot of fun.

So, what is the difference amoung growing vegetables organically or using herbicides? When humans decide to plant conventionally, they will be relying on fertilizers and herbicides to form these grow. Studies have shown that although that may yield better harvests, that is dangerous to our health considering of the chemical ingredients used.
