Greenhouse Gardening Basics

If you have always assumed that it would be difficult to start a greenhouse garden you might be surprised by how easy it is to put one together. Basically, all you need is a shack with a lot of windows.

There is a little bit more to it than that – you need to keep the temperature right, prepare certain the plants are well watered, and run electricity in for nighttime lighting – but basically it is not much more difficult than putting

together any sort of hut.

Many humans who get into greenhouse gardening are extremely serious about it. They research the optimal temperatures, moisture, and soil characteristics for the plants that they are growing, and only grow plants that seem to get along well.

You might be a little bit less interested in that kind of scientific approach than most are. Perhaps you simply want to have fun with it.
